The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR258 is a single-socket rack server that delivers high performance, reliability, flexibility, and security in a compact 1U chassis, ideal for small and midsize businesses. SR258 is cost-effective and has a new generation of Intel Xeon · The E-2100/E-2200 processors offer high performance and reliability and support for a range of storage configurations. It provides the flexibility to handle workloads such as web services virtualization, entry-level cloud, and data partitioning applications, while the integrated Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) protect the SR258 in blockchain applications.

The ThinkSystem SR258 is suitable for multiple environments and workloads, with a smaller rack depth for space-constrained environments. It also offers true storage and workload flexibility with a range of storage options such as high-speed TruDDR4 memory, GPU support, and low-latency NVMe drives. Multiple network interface ports and a dedicated management port enable superior I/O capabilities to handle heavy network traffic and enable faster data transfer. The SR258 is also available in fixed or redundant power options, depending on the data center deployment model.
